The Education University of Hong Kong

As the only university in Hong Kong founded on teacher education, EdUHK has always adhered to the mission of 'Nurturing Talents and Fostering Education, Building Character and Cultivating People,' committed to cultivating future educators with both talent and virtue. We deeply understand that the professional development of principals and teachers is crucial, and only through collaboration can we address the challenges facing education today. EdUHK is fortunate to have received support from the Ministry of Education, the Department of Teacher Work of the Ministry of Education, the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office), and the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to establish the 'Principals and Teachers Synergistic Innovation Training Centre' and launch training programs.

The training programs will provide an important platform for educators from the Mainland, Hong Kong SAR, and Macao SAR. Through in-depth academic exchanges and practical exploration, we look forward to everyone gaining inspiration here and learning how to integrate innovative elements into teaching, injecting new vitality into education.

When education prospers, the nation prospers; when education is strong, the nation is strong. President Xi Jinping emphasized at the National Education Conference the need to focus on the fundamental task of 'Building Character and Cultivating People,' and to move steadily toward the strategic goal of building a strong education nation. He further pointed out that 'we must implement the action of forging the spirit of educators to strengthen teachers, strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics and style, improve the quality of teacher training, and cultivate a high-level teaching force for the new era.' We hope to strengthen educational exchanges between principals in the Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao regions, promote the professional growth of teachers in the three regions, build a normalized mechanism for the coordinated development of the teaching force in the Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao regions, enhance mutual understanding, and strengthen national identity.
